By meeting military standards, as well as IP67 and NEMA 4/6 environmental sealing standards, our LCD monitors protect against many contaminants, including liquid immersion (submersion) between 15 cm and 1 m depth, blowing dust, falling dirt or debris, rain, sleet, snow, splashing liquids, hose-directed fluids, and external formation of ice on the enclosure.

They are ideally suited to dusty or wet conditions found in industrial and military environments, such as deserts, ships, oil rigs, or simply constant exposure to changing weather conditions.

Barracuda™

Fully enclosed and sealed to IP67 standards, the Barracuda Series protects against dust, debris, limited-time liquid submersion (15 cm to 1.0 m), and extreme weather conditions—ideal for harsh environments like deserts, ships, and oil rigs.

Features include wide viewing angles, fast response times, and a protective glass overlay with antiglare and antireflective coatings for clear, vibrant images.

These low-power units operate on a +12 Vdc source, with customizable or AC power supply options available.

Barracuda Slim™

The Barracuda Slim features a sealed, IP67-compliant enclosure with a rugged keypad, connectors, and a GORE® pressure equalization filter for durability.

Built to MIL-DTL-901, MIL-STD-464, MIL-STD-461, and MIL-STD-167 standards, it has a 1.7-inch depth and a 15.6″ high-brightness LCD (1920 x 1080 HD resolution). A low-profile PCB, EMI mesh, and antireflective glass enhance performance. Rear-mounted 100 mm VESA studs support pedestal or arm mounting.

Options include NVIS-compatible backlighting, industrial/military-grade connectors, display enhancements, and custom finishes, including Desert Tan, as pictured here.
