Production Engineer

Role Description

This is a full-time onsite entry level role as a Production Engineer in East Hartford CT. The Production Engineer will be responsible for the Design and Development of Electrical systems such as PCBs, and Cables. The candidate will build, test, and certify prototype systems and subassemblies as well as create and update system documentation related to the end product. The position will involve coordination with Mechanical, Electrical, Systems and Software Engineering as well as production in the development of new systems and resolution of design issues and qualifying new components. The position will support production by troubleshooting and or repair of systems and subassemblies down to the component level. They will also provide technical assistance to customers as needed.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering or an Associate’s Degree with corresponding experience in the field of electronics or related field.
  • Extensive understanding of electronics and debugging procedures.
  • Proficiency in the use of CAD software for product design and development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team under tight deadlines and changing priorities.

Electromechanical Assembler

We are seeking an Electromechanical Assembler to become an integral part of our team! You will perform assembly line tasks as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.


  • Work with a team to assemble entire products or components
  • Rotate through tasks for specific production processes
  • Conduct quality inspections on products and parts
  • Prepare finished products for shipment
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area


  • Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fields
  • Familiarity with assembly tools and equipment
  • Electronic Soldering experience
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Ability to work well in teams
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Electrical Engineer


General Digital offers a variety of rugged electronic LCD monitor products designed for commercial, industrial, and military use in high technology applications, and is looking for an experienced engineer for development of LCD monitors and their corresponding electrical systems. This position would be responsible for the design of hardware, firmware, and software to perform a variety of control features within the monitors.

Current embedded systems are based on Microchip PIC processors using a variety of interfaces (I2C, SPI, RS-232, Ethernet). The candidate would also be responsible for designing and testing LCD Monitors


  • U.S. Citizen
  • BA/BS in Electrical, systems, or Computer Engineering
  • Minimum of 3 years of design experience
  • Extensive understanding of electronics and debugging procedures
  • Experience in circuit design and PCB layout
  • Experience with microprocessor design and corresponding firmware, including I2C, SPI, RS-232, Ethernet
  • Strong communication skills, written and oral
  • Self-motivated team player with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills


  • Experience working on LCD’s
  • Experience with LED lighting
  • Experience with Optics
  • Experience with Linux

Systems Engineer


We are seeking an experienced engineer for development of LCD monitors and their corresponding electrical systems. This position would be responsible for developing and maintaining system parts list and assembly instructions, assembling prototype systems, and providing production support.


  • U.S. Citizen
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Systems, or Computer Engineering
  • Extensive understanding of electronics and debugging procedures
  • Comfortable working both on a team and on smaller individual projects
  • Experience with diagnostic equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
  • Strong communication skills, written and oral
  • Self-motivated team player with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
