Today, General Digital Corporation is pleased to announce the award of a multi-million dollar developmental contract in support of a major Mission Display program for General Dynamics. The contract, the largest in General Digital’s 51-Year history, shows that the company is poised to continue providing innovative display solutions for decades to come.
“This award is the culmination of years of hard work from our entire team,” remarked GDC President, Bryan Gudrian. “So much effort goes into the design and development process, from building prototypes to getting units through the rigorous qualification process. I can’t thank our staff enough for their dedication in getting us to the finish line. Now the fun part starts.”
The award also brings additional jobs to GDC’s East Hartford facility, with the company seeking to hire additional engineers, assemblers, and support staff, ensuring continued growth and viability for the area’s robust manufacturing industry. The workstations are expected to be delivered to the Navy for deployment in 2027.
