In recent years, General Digital Corporation has received a number of significant defense contracts to provide ruggedized display systems and workstations, along with other products and engineering services. As the company continues to expand, we have embarked on a record hiring spree to assist us in the fulfillment of these contracts and to prepare us for future growth.
In recent months, General Digital’s Display Systems division has added new employees across manufacturing, engineering, quality control, and business development, increasing the company’s headcount by 18%. And we aren’t stopping there, with additional roles to fill within production, inventory, engineering, and sales.

The continued expansion of our team in East Hartford is going to keep us ready, willing, and able to serve the evolving needs of the warfighter.”
In addition to the new hires, General Digital has also promoted a number of employees from within, with 4 new leads and managers across production, software, and engineering—exemplifying the family atmosphere the company has established over the last 51 years.
